Early checkups help prevent cavities and tooth decay, which can lead to pain, trouble concentrating and other medical issues. Youngsters with healthy teeth chew food easily, learn to speak clearly and smile with confidence.

We want you and your child to be at ease at our clinic. We’ll start by building rapport by chatting with our young patients, they will feel more relaxed during their dental appointments. This makes visits to the dentist more fun insted of intimidating.

We are here to help you decide on the right treatment for you and if you have any questions you’d like to ask, feel free to contact us at any time!

FAQ

- WHEN SHOULD I START BRINGING MY CHILD FOR A DENTAL CHECK-UP?

It is recommended that every child has an introductory dental check-up before they’re 12 months old, within the first 6 months of the growth of their first tooth.

Majority of toddlers and children under six years olds have not fully developed their motor skills . This may affect the way they hold their oothbrushes, their brushing techniques which tends to lead to poor brushing. Feeding habits such as leaving milk bottles’ overnight inside the child’s mouth, along with the exposure to sugary baby food can cause the build-up of harmful bacteria around the teeth leading to tooth decay.

- WHAT ARE THE COMMON DENTAL TREATMENT & RESTORATION FOR CHILDREN?
  • Dental fillings
  • Tooth extractions
  • Stainless steel crowns
  • Early orthodontic assessment
  • Early management of malocclusion (misalignment or incorrect relation between the teeth of the two dental arches when they approach each other as the jaws close).
